Focusing and shooting functions

Registering an AF target mode

You can register a frequently used AF target mode and the position of that AF target. You can

then quickly load that registered setting (“home position”) and use it when shooting.

Registering

1 Select the position of the AF target and press the

i button.

• The home position is registered at the time the buttons

are pressed.

• The home position cannot be registered when

operating through the direct button.

Shooting

In order to use this function, assign [PHOME] to any of the Fn button, P button or the t

(preview) button in advance. gP. 106

1 Press the button to which [PHOME] is assigned.

• The registered home position is selected. Press this button again to switch to the original AF

target mode.

x Notes

• The AF sensitivity is not recorded when registering the home position.
