J TURNING THE POWER ON/OFF
When shooting pictures (Shooting mode)
Power on: Slide the power switch to , pressing and holding the lock
button.
The camera turns on in the shooting mode. The lens extends
and the subject is displayed on the monitor.
Power off: Slide the power switch to OFF.
The camera turns off. (The monitor also turns off.)
• Even if the monitor is turned off, the battery power is
consumed unless the power switch is located at OFF.
